I can never forget the Titanic-movie So tragical and sad. How many years has it been already? It's ages of decades ago for this worldwide successful Blockbuster....!!! Honour and Praise to Titanic
My grandfather saw the titanic and he warned everyone that it would sink but nobody would listen. He told people a few more times and then he was kicked out of the cinema.

My grandfather told me that he saw The Titanic, and that from the beginning he warned all the people that the boat would sink, but they ignored him. However, they were warned again on several occassions, until they kicked him out the cinema.

Love is a tragical end of a cute friendship.. I don't know why god has created us that we fall in love with a good friend.. It would be better if we could spend life with a beautiful friend without falling in love with her/him..Love tied us tightly with some boring duties
I always wished they were a couple but I'm glad that they remained close friends. You rarely see that in Hollywood. Their friendship is so pure!
Their love will go on forever. Titanic will be preserved in the National Film Registry, just in time for the 20th Anniversary.

This is awesome one of my favorite movies I saw it opening week when it came out in 97 saw it again when it was released into 2012 and saw it in 3d also own two copies of it on dvd . It just stinks that it was not released in more theaters I would have gone to see it again
I wish it was playing near me. But I should be grateful; I saw "Titanic" in '97, during its original run. Saw it again in 2012 for the 3-D re-release. Thought the third time would be the charm.

First, we need to establish that the item both Jack and Rose were floating on was not, in fact, a door, but a panel from the Grand Staircase on A-Deck. Most, if not all, of the carved wooden features of the Grand Staircase was made from English Oak. Second, we need to state that the average weight of English brown oak is 48lbs per cubic foot, with a density of .74 (103 kg/m3). In sea water, this means a cubic foot of English oak can displace 48/64 of sea water, or 16 pounds of weight per cubic foot.
Given the approximate length of the floating panel was about 7.5 feet and about 4 feet at its widest point, and being a maximum of 4 inches true, it is therefore conceivable that only Rose, assuming she is 120 pounds, can float on the panel and Jack's added weight would submerge it, making them both succumb to the 28-degree sea water. It is even conceivable, given how thin the panel is, that Rose's weight should have partially submerged the panel if she could not find its center of gravity.
Conclusion: Jack is still dead, and Rose probably should have been too.
They tried once and it didn't work. Could they have tried again? Of course. Jack wanted to make sure she was safe and that was it. No one seems to bring up the fact that if Rose hadn't jumped out of the lifeboat back onto the ship he may have had the door all to himself and met up with her on the Carpathia.
Katie Winslet shared some major #Titanic secrets and reenacted the door scene on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

As I always thought, I say it now: Rose and Jack couldn't both fit on top of the door because of the extra WEIGHT. If you observe well you can see how it starts to go down when Jack tries to climb in with her.
Hahah! A little more of this kind of stuff, Steve!

My emotional moment is when Rose lets go of Jack and then goes into the water to swim for the whistle. All I think about during this scene is how strong her fighting spirit is, she can't really swim and she's freezing, but still she gets into the water and finally blows the whistle. I also like the transition from young Rose to old Rose after she has blown the whistle. When old Rose begin to say "there were 20 boats floating nearby, when Titanic sank from under us. And only one came back, one. Six were saved from water, myself included, six, out of 1500."
Allways and ever takes me to tears: the old couple embracing in their bed and the Mother Reading to take the Children to Sleep knowing...
