Tech. Sgt. Tom Burden, with the Ohio National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing, had a problem. As a weapons mechanic on the F-16 Fighting Falcon, it wasn't a problem specific to him, but one most of the mechanics in his unit faced.

"My favorite thing about this job is the people," said Sgt. David Watkins, of the South Carolina National Guard. "You never know who you are going to encounter on a call and the people are always very appreciative."
